Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
by the Smoky Mountain Shaggers

New Ticket Ordering Procedure

Dates and Price of Admission

Daily breakfast is included with hotel room rate.  Day passes, if available, for Friday and Saturday are $50 for each full day.  Paid registrations are NOT refundable, but are transferable.

Ordering Tickets

There is a two (2) ticket maximum per order and
tickets are purchased before registering guest information.

Payment only accepted by Credit/Debit cards.

Attendance at the Boogie requires a registered ticket, no physical tickets are issued.  Ordering tickets is a three (3) step process:

  1. Order Reserved Tickets:  To reserve tickets, a purchaser chooses a quantity of tickets to be purchased and lists the full names of all people on the order that will be assigned to the tickets.  When ordering tickets, be sure to verify the ticket quantity matches the number of guests to be registered. Our system doesn't do this automatically.  If ordering for multiple people, have their name, phone number and email address ready for step 3.

  2. Complete the SQUARE Checkout: During check out the only method of payment is credit card payment done online. After the Boogie receives a ticket order, two emails are sent.  Note: Please check your spam and junk folders if you don't receive the emails after placing an order. The first email contains the order number and quantity of tickets ordered. The second email provides instructions and a link required to complete the next step. To insure each ticket is confirmed and registered, the following step must be completed.

  3. Guest Registration: Contact information for each guest on the order must be provided within 24 hours by the purchaser of the ticket(s).  For example, John wants to buy two tickets; one for himself and one for Mary.  He has reserved and paid for two tickets.  In the order confirmation email he receives, there will be a link to an online guest registration form.  Using the guest registration form, he must provide the referenced order number, name, phone number and email address for himself and then Mary.   A ticket confirmation is then emailed by our system to each registered guest.  The email sent to each guest will contain the order number with instructions for making a room reservation at the Boogie hotel.

NOTE

Using anonymous names (i.e. Guest 1, Guest 2, or John Smith-Guest) should not be used without prior special permission from the Boogie. The Boogie reserves the right to cancel any order and provide a refund if guest information is not provided for an order after the 24 hour time limit.  For special permission or questions, contact Bill Linam 865-250-7650 bill.linam@smokymountainboogie.com.

Club Tables

It is the policy of the Boogie to automatically arrange club tables for any club with more than 10 attendees.  DO NOT SEND A PAPER FORM for any reservation; it will be rejected.  Ticket orders and registrations are only being accepted online (first come first served) so we can maintain accurate attendee information and determine order priority.  When a person registers, they can indicate a club affiliation from a provided list of clubs.  If the club is not listed they can select Other and then enter a new club.  To register 10 or more people, there are two approaches:

  1. Simply have all people order their own tickets and pay on-line and register themselves with the same club affiliation.

  2. One purchaser collects name, phone, and email information for all people.  Then purchases ticket reservations and registers each person with the same club affiliation. There is a two ticket maximum per order, so multiple orders will be required.

Only Credit/Debit Cards Accepted for Payment

This year the Boogie only accepts credit or debit card payments using SQUARE payment processing.

No checks or money orders will be accepted without Boogie approval.

Waiting List

When all tickets are sold, visitors to the Boogie website can provide their contact details using a waiting list form.  By completing the form, you are giving the Boogie permission to share your name, email address, and club affiliation on our public website so that a ticket seller can contact you. When tickets are available from a seller, a wait listed person may be contacted by a seller and given instructions for providing payment.  The Boogie will not facilitate the resale of tickets.

Transferring a Registration

Boogie tickets are NOT refundable, but they are transferable.
If you have any questions about making a transfer, contact Bill Linam 865-250-7650 bill.linam@smokymountainboogie.com.

Want to Sell a Ticket?
If you can't attend the Boogie after paying for a ticket, you can privately resell the ticket. Check our Wait List (sorted by club affiliation, not priority) for people that want tickets to the Boogie. The Boogie will not find a buyer for you. However, please use the (Transfer Request Form) to notify us that you want to transfer your ticket.  DO NOT transfer your ticket without creating a transfer request.  We must have accurate records of all transfers because no one will be admitted to the Boogie without being properly registered.  When submitting a transfer request, you will be asked if you have a buyer.  If you have a buyer, be sure you have their name, phone number and email address.  If you don't have a buyer, you can still use the Transfer Request Form. However, submitting this form without a buyer, gives the Boogie permission to share your name, email address, and club affiliation on our public Tickets For Sale page, so a ticket buyer can contact you directly.  If you are selling more than one ticket to different buyers, please create a transfer request for each buyer.  If the Boogie needs additional information, you and/or the buyer will be contacted.

What to do with your room reservation?

It will be easier to find a potential buyer, if you have a room reservation at the Ramsey hotel.  Do not cancel your room until you have found a buyer for your ticket.  There is a place on the Transfer Request Form to indicate you have a room reserved.

Hotel Accommodations

After Boogie tickets are purchased and assigned by the purchaser, an email is sent to each assigned guest with information about getting a special Boogie room rate at the Ramsey Hotel (865 428-2700).  The Boogie rate for a standard room, including breakfast, is $TBD+tax. First floor rooms are $TBD+tax.  The special room rates require the order number provided in the Boogie reservation confirmation email.  Do not make a hotel reservation until you have received your confirmed Boogie ticket order number.
